Without listening we wouldn’t be able to understand the nuances or react to what we are being told. We can pick up valuable information, study body language and read between the lines when we are in regular dialogue with our candidates and companies.

It’s also very important to meet up with both the candidate and the companies, as this all helps in establishing a suitable match. A lot of candidates can look fantastic on paper, but that is not a guarantee of a good fit within a company. Only by listening, meeting up and listening again can we be sure that our candidates are the right fit.
